 7.0  A quiet, and relaxing stay, with amazing food
☺ The resort is lovely and tranquil, with the hostess doing her utmost to make your stay enjoyable. Upon arrival we were immediately offered breakfast and given an overview of services. The food is absolutely amazing, some of the best food we have had, and a great variety, so definitely plan in a few meals at the resort during your stay. 
The location is very private, which was great for us (married couple in our early thirties), since our main goal was relaxing after climbing Kili, especially since it meant not being bothered by any beach boys. Having said that, we also went to Kiwenga beach and Paje on day trips and this would be much better for younger people looking for more of a vibey area.
Since the location is quite remote, we hired a scooter to go explore the island, which was organised for us by one of the resort staff. Also, do check out their spa, which offers amazing massages at 20% discount for couples.

☹ While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the following could be improved upon:
- We paid extra for a room with a sea view, but while the sea was surely visible from the room, it is actually further away from the ocean than most other rooms, and definitely not worth the extra money, don't fall for this.
- All card transactions incur a 5% fee
- The tour operator stationed at the hotel, talked us into booking a day trip with them, making promises of additional activities, as well as promising me that it is "all-inclusive" even after I asked him several times (by now I knew that everything in Zanzibar had hidden costs). As it turned out, we had to pay for all the additional activities in the form of tips, and was subjected to a guide who clearly was not keen on entertaining us for the day. Definitely won't recommend using them, and would strongly suggest the hotel in looking into a new tour operator
- They mention that they have water sport equipment, but this only includes two SUP boards, of which one has no rudder

☺Posto tranquillo, ben organizzato. Le camere sono spaziose e molto pulite. Il top in assoluto per me è la piscina :)…lo staff è estremamente cortese ed ho apprezzato la grande collaborazione e la simpatia dei gestori italiani.

☹La struttura in sé è perfetta…l’unica piccola pecca la marea che fa un po’ più fatica a manifestarsi dato che si tratta di una piccola baia. Però la soluzione è letteralmente dietro l’angolo, nel senso che basta una passeggiata di 15 minuti e si trova il mare paradisiaco.
